Personality

Smug, cocky, confident, self-assured, proud, playful, charming, competitive, outgoing, independent, mischievous, quick-witted, bold, carefree, and unapologetically full of themselves. Kei is almost never insecure, and always walks with an air of superiority. They knows exactly how great they are and love reminding everyone around them of it. Though they may seem egotistical, they have a soft spot for their lover and their brother, always showing affection in their own unique way.

They're an endlessly charismatic person that always has a smile or a smirk on their lips. Kei is a mature, cunning and intelligent person that is somewhat greedy and selfish, always doing what they believe will be most beneficial to themselves. A perfectionist, never accepting anything less than absolute perfection from themselves. They are also strict, domineering and controlling, always watching the people under their control.

Some may think Kei is arrogant, greedy and loveless, but while they are indeed prideful, Kei is a rather hopeless romantic and deeply affectionate and loving, with way too much love to give for people close to them. Their hugs are so tight and suffocating it can break bones and choke people despite their slender elegant arms, and when they begin kissing they never stop, always greedy for affection.

Highly emotional in a positive way, for the most part. Rarely shows being upset, but when they are, it's explosive and hurtful. Tends to feel lonely and becomes low energy on their own.

Very sexually sadistic, moreso than their brother, but has a bit of a masochism streak. The only person they're really sexually weak to is Okuni.

Biography

Older than Jin by a couple minutes, they were born to normal, but terrible, human parents. Their parents have long since perished, Jin and Kei practically raised themselves. Jin and Kei are identical twins but opposite in birth sex.

In their childhood, they met with the alien Ko, who took them both in as vessels to its power. Ko likes Jin the most, Kei feels jealous of this, but would never hate their little brother. Ko, its species named the isostar, shares a telepathic communication line with the twins and each other.

As an adult, they're adventurous and never at one place. A mercenary by trade, surprisingly strong for their small size.

Met with the Snake King Okuni, at the time disguised as a young man named Omono. Almost immediately fell in love. They share a striking resemblance to Okuni's former lover, but the reasons for this are unknown.

Trivia

persona	though they are their own character, developed over time through roleplay, illustration, and fiction writing, kei is my, the creator's stand-in persona on the internet. out of the vast amount of characters i own, they resemble me the most in terms of personality.
name	originally named kochiya, chiya for short. the "ko" part stuck around for the isostar, but for the sake of consistency, when jin was created, i named them something closer to my own name. also a bit of a pun... jin + kei, meaning mercy, an old social media alias of mine.
appearance	their appearance has changed a lot and rapidly over time, but the core color scheme hasn't changed much. cherry red with black streaks has been a consistent appearance signifier for kei's character.
